We do not have catering facilities on site therefore our Admin Team order pupil and staff lunches on a daily basis from an external provider which is a local deli. We collect hot and cold food, offering balanced and nutritious choices, creating a positive food culture and forging links with the local community. Each day a new menu is displayed in the Reception area, pupils can order their preference, this includes a sandwich, a wrap or a hot meal, including a bakery item or a hot dessert, as well as a piece of fruit. The cost of a school lunch is £2.80 per day, £14.00 per week. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or Bacs transfer, please contact the Academy for bank details if you wish to pay by Bacs.
Free School Meal Entitlement
Pupils entitled to Free School Meals, are still required to make a selection on arrival. We do not order lunches for pupils that are absent from school, or absent from registration to try and prevent waste. We are aware that some families are becoming increasingly concerned about the financial impact of the COVID-19 response. If your family circumstances have changed, your child may be eligible for free school meals. For more information and to check eligibility, visit the Calderdale Council website.
