Academy Closure – July 2021

Dear all,

Unfortunately a number of staff have tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend; following this – the vast majority of our staff team and many pupils have now been identified as close contacts and therefore need to isolate until they have a PCR test to confirm they do not have COVID-19. Following advice from Calderdale Public Health and our Trust central team we have had to take the decision to close the academy for the final week of the term. We appreciate this is not ideal and it most certainly is not how we planned to finish the academic year.

Remote learning will be on the school’s website and we will send out details to all parents / carers via the text messaging service. We will provide further updates as we can, including final details on the return to school for all in September.
